With six years of teaching under her belt, as well as her California and Washington State teaching certificates, Jennifer Bardsley enjoys sharing her love of writing with students of all ages.
From 2009-20011 she served on the board of the Edmonds Public Schools Foundation. In 2011 Jennifer founded the educational advocacy website Teaching My Baby to Read. In 2012 she began writing a weekly newspaper column called I Brake for Moms for The Everett Daily Herald. In 2016 Jennifer’s debut YA novel, Genesis Girl, was published by Month9Books. The sequel, Damaged Goods, came out in 2017.
Under her pseudonym, Louise Cypress, Jennifer is the author of Books, Boys and Revenge, Bite Me, Hunt Me, Slay Me and The Gift of Goodbye. Her newest Lousie Cypress Book is Narcosis Room, published by Owl Hollow Press.
Author visits require a $150 honorarium for a half day visit.
